HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Tranquil Flow E-Design Studio allows you to purchase professional Interior Design Consulting services tailored to your specific needs and budget. E-Design eliminates time consuming on-site meetings, site measurements and the procurement of expensive “Trade Only” products and materials which are charged on a time billable basis ( “Trade Only” products are available on request with additional fee’s), the more leg work you can do on your own , the more affordable the services become! Tranquil Flow E-Design Studio focuses on materials and products that are available no matter your lifestyle, budget or where you are located. You will receive valuable information and instructions on how to implement your new design plans with your own contractors. Your design plan will utilize furniture and décor from the brands you already shop from such as Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Ethan Allen , West Elm and hundreds more! You will also get access to exclusive trade -only vendors to get that customized designer look for your space.
Step One:
Choose a package that fits your budget. You will be directed to a client questionnaire and instructions on how to access your project. Fill out the questionnaire and upload any photos and measurements to your space.
Step Two:
Next, I will start working on your concept and create a Concept/Mood Board similar to the sample shown. I will be in touch virtually to communicate and make sure the concept is what you envisioned.
Step Three:
Once the concept is approved, you will receive your Mood Board, a to-scale floorplan, and /or a 2D or 3D rendering along with design tips and instructions on how to pull it all together in your space.
Step Four:
Finally, a detailed shopping list with images and direct links to approved products and instructions will serve as a “do-it-yourself” guide to implementing the design plan yourself. I will be available virtually after your items have been delivered for assistance with instructions and styling tips to help you finalize the project. Let’s get started!

Welcome to my online E-Design Studio!
I have over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the Interior Design Industry. My experience consists of commercial and residential design, Interior Merchandising (model home design), furniture sales, kitchen and bath design, color consultations, sustainable design, and Feng Shui consulting.
After graduating from Design School in 1983, I entered the fast-paced world of commercial design working as a Space Planner for both Steelcase and Herman Miller dealerships. After 8 years, I took a position in Chicago Il, as a Senior Designer for the former Concept Group, a prestigious Interior Merchandising Firm serving builders such as Pulte, Centex, and Schumacher Homes in the Midwest and east coast winning both Gold and Silver Key Awards for the company. Following that, I was inspired to start my own Consulting business called Concepts by Kandace which became a success until the winds of change in 2001 brought me and my family to North Carolina.
Simultaneously I developed an interest in Feng Shui as it was being introduced into this country in the 1980s and became certified in both Western and Classical Feng Shui Methods.
I retired from Design temporarily to be a full-time mom, raise my two wonderful children, and to recover from some chronic health challenges associated with exposure to Lyme Disease in my late 20s. After the birth of my children, I became a Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator and started a successful support group for women who were recovering from traumatic childbirth experiences. During this time my chronic health challenges compelled me to learn more about Holistic and Alternative Healing modalities and as my health improved, I decided to pursue a career in Holistic Healing by studying Massage Therapy, Integrative Reflexology, Shamanic Healing, Reiki, and other Biofield therapies such as Crystal Healing and Chromotherapy (Color Therapy). I then began to look for an office space to treat clients and my desire to create the perfect healing environment brought me full circle back to my first love - Interior Design. I am now an Empty Nester and official Wise woman and am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life!
